Premier League stuff after the jump

Pellegrini out and Pep in?!
I’m not sure how I feel about this. Pelligrini was the first manager I rooted for when I became a Man City fan, but on the flip side Pep is one of the best managers in the world and could bring in some major talent.

I’d say Pep in is very likely, but you have to bear in mind that ESPN articles are usually bollocks.
(scratch that, just noticed it’s been confirmed by better sources)
In that case I’m rather jelly. Also, quit fucking around ya pricks and beat Arsenal to the league. Has to be City or Leicester or this will officially be the worst season of all time.
Also, currently crying because Terry is leaving. :’(

Ugh, and I actually liked Pep. I figured eventually they would announce he was most likely going there. Oh well. I guess I can be nice and say I hope he works out for you if he indeed ends up there.

I really enjoyed Pellegrini and the energy(?) he brought to the program, but after the end of last season a change may be in order.

Yeah, I saw that and was editing my post while you replied. Sorry.

Yeah. Could be worse though. You could be a Chelsea fan. :)

Oi!

No kidding. Last season I was mad at all Chelsea fans, and now I feel empathy. Best of luck, but not too much ;)

No worries :)

Not a big surprise, he already said he was going to the PL and City was rumoured for a long time. But what is he going to do? Don’t think they need even more players and the team is already there.
Maybe (finally) more CL success?

Eh, I am not much better. Glory glory..... all the way out of anything worth a damn this season.

Oh no, I am not a Chelsea fan. I agree with what you are saying though. Mine isn’t much better though.

I think that they want a manager that can handle more than the PR, because historically, Pellegrini has had little to no success anywhere else (FA cup, Capital One cup, CL). Hopefully Pep is the one they are looking for.

Who do you support, if anyone?

United. I know we get a lot of hate too, so it’s all good. Thing is, living in the southern US, there are very few people who I can carry a conversation with about European football. It’s frustrating, but part of it.

You’re right about that. Never understood why they wanted Pellegrini so bad. I think Pep is going to succeed at City, he has the players and the players are going to love him.
But knowing Pep, he will be gone after 2/3 years lol.

I think he’ll stay his 3 year contract, and that’ll be all. Who knows who they’ll go to after that.

Now I’m required by the bro-code to hate you based on our team preferenecs lol. But I’m with you 100%, there are maybe 3 people in my highschool that are Euro soccr fans.

Lol indeed. I have a couple of coworkers who are into it, so that does help. One is an Everton fan and the other is a Gooner. I watch more than just EPL though, so I lose them once I start talking about Bundesliga or La Liga. Used to watch a fair amount of Eredivisie too since it came on watch ESPN until this year.

My question is does this forces united’s hand to hire Mourihno?
